Since graduating from the University of Kentucky with a double major in Art, Bonnie has had extensive graduate stu dies in Christian Education; Art History; English Literature; Education; and Business Administration, receiving a M. Min. in Christian Communication.

A CLASS graduate, she is a member of the Orange Country Christian Writer's Fellowship (OCCWF); National Writers Association; San Diego Christian Writers Guild; The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators; The Christian PEN, and Rhode Island Historical Society.  She has also been officially awarded the honorary title of Kentucky Colonel by the State of Kentucky for her writing.  A member of the adjunct teaching staff at Concordia University in Irvine, CA, she also speaks for MOPS, schools, and women’s groups, and for writer’s conferences and seminars, such as OCCWF’s Spring Writer’s Day.

Bonnie also speaks to classrooms, writers' groups, senior citizens, and writer’s conferences.  Her Write Your Book workshops provide you with all you need to get your book started—and published!
